I have some news. My husband recently was accepted into grad school. We will be moving from the area the first of the year. We will be setting up in Moscow Idaho for the next few years.

I know, it's big right!

But it's not the best news for those of you who live HERE. I will miss all of you who have let me create something special for those wonderful events in your life. I really love hearing about your occasion and what will make it special for you and your loved ones. It's a rare look into the things that make us all happy. Thank you for sharing that with me. There are parts of me that are quite sad to leave the wonderful home we have here in Rexburg.

This cake was for a 80th birthday party. This is a 1942 Chevy Coupe with "80 years and still running " written on the back windshield. This cake was 3D and really fun to make.

This white cake is full of delicious cookie pieces. The filling is chocolate buttercream and the frosting is a vanilla buttercream.

This makes me think of a reverse Oreo. With the vanilla on the outside and the chocolate on the inside.

This cake has two sides, from one side you see the yellow and flip it around so the pink side comes out. Here is the perfect way to do a cake for two!

These two best friends have the SAME birthday and celebrated with this cake. Each side has unique things that makes up who they are. Hobbies, personality traits and did you catch the "pets" on the cake? How fun!!

Red Velvet Cake

You will find me saying over and over that a certain cake is one of my favorites but that all leads to Red Velvet being my favorite cake flavor. This cake is the bar I hold up to all other cakes! Now that says a lot!!

What is it? A red colored cake made with a buttermilk batter. A bit of coco is added to hint at the flavor of chocolate but not overcome the cake. A cream cheese frosting tops it off to be the perfect combination of yellow cake, chocolate cake and my favorite frosting. Not to mention the RED color, also my favorite.

Princess Place


This birthday cake was for a a girl turning 7. For her birthday she got her hair and nails done and then to her party with this castle cake. What a perfect birthday for this princess. Happy Birthday Kylonna!

The cake was based off a Wilton design. The building is cake and the pillars, door, and windows are plastic. It's decorated with buttercream and fondant.

As many of you hunting widows know......hunting season is in full swing. This cake was for a die hard hunter that took time off from the mountains for his birthday party. His sweet wife made it worth it with this cake.

The cake is covered with camouflage colored fondant and a ganache waterfall slipping over the edge. Then topped with our hunter, his bow and arrow, and the large elk he is going to shoot.

Remember those delicious cookies called snickerdoodles? My husband loves them, I'll be honest I love them too! Now it's a cake flavor available at Brittany's Cake World.

The cake and buttercream has a smooth butter and cinnamon taste. It takes me right to the cookie but it's even better........it's cake! Plus, I love the little brown speckles throughout.
